{Kendra & Dakota} Fergus Falls Lakeside Wedding

I was so happy to be a part of this wedding and help capture these pictures for Kendra and Dakota. This wedding is particularly close to my heart because Kendra and Dakota are both former students of mine. What you may not know about me is that I was an art teacher for ten years. Most of that time spent teaching at Underwood High School (Go Rockets!). I taught Kendra and Dakota from 7th to 12th grade! Kendra was my yearbook editor for one year and Dakota was always such a nice guy. So respectful with the nicest smile. They both hold a special place in my heart so when I was asked to photograph their wedding, I was thrilled. Then when I found out who was all in their wedding party I was even happier. Almost the entire wedding party were my students at one point or another! It was so wonderful to reconnect with them all.

The wedding itself was great! So laid back and casual. Everyone was there for a good time and support this great loving couple. They adore each other and that clearly shows. Even though I had them kissing in front of their former teacher... ;)

Kendra made the most beautiful bride. She was dressed in a beautiful gown from David's Bridal and had her hair and makeup done at Twisted Root Salon.

The special touches are always my favorite. She had special charms on her bouquet in remembrance of her mother, including a photo.

Dakota was casual in blue jeans and a white camo vest. He as looking sharp.

We had some fun with the wedding party pictures. The girls were such beautiful models in the blush to nude dresses and cowboys boots.

While the guys rocked their jeans and camo vests. They could pretty much always be found with a beer in hand so we went with it. Cheers!

After the ceremony, the wedding party climbed on two pontoons and off they went to soak up the sun, have a beer, and relax! The tough part was over and now just for a fun party!

Congratulations Kendra and Dakota!!!
