{Megan & Tucker} Intimate Family Wedding

One of the beautiful things about weddings is that there are no two the same. Every couples has their own idea about the perfect way to tie the knot. Some couples have HUGE weddings with lots of friends and family, some couples elope, and some (like Megan and Tucker) choose to have a very small intimate wedding. I loved it. I send out questionnaires to all of my couples asking them questions about their wedding day so that I know exactly what to expect and plan for. One of my questions is "How many guests do you expect at your wedding?" Usually it is an estimate, "around 250" seems to be an average answer. Tucker and Megan's answer.... 14. It was their parents, siblings, niece and nephew, and grandparents. The people who are the most important to them. So special and intimate of an affair but still worthy of beautiful photographs to remember their special day! So we didn't have the usual wedding party pictures but got to spend a little extra time on their portraits. Which was okay because it was quite chilly that day!

They had the perfect, quaint little church to get married in as well. The Farwell Norwegian Lutheran Church that was just recently renovated. It was such a sweet little church with big beautiful windows! To complete the family affair, they were married by Megan's brother who was ordained just for them, their niece and nephew served as the flower girl and ring bearer, and Tucker's grandmother made them a traditional Norwegian wedding cake. The day was just perfect! Congratulations Megan and Tucker! I hope you have a fabulous honeymoon!
