Ashley and Devon are MARRIED!!! Yeah baby! I have loved getting to know these families. In July, Ashley's brother got married and now it was Ashley's turn. The Thomas family has had a busy Summer and Fall with their only two kids getting married just months apart! But they turned out wonderfully!
I met Ashley and Devon about a year ago for their engagement pictures and Devon let me know right away that he was not all that excited about pictures. ;) Not surprisingly this is generally not the guys favorite part about getting married. At least not before they do them! Engagement pictures are a wonderful thing to do, not just because this is an important time in a couple's life but also because it gives us a chance to get to know each other and how I work as a photographer. Needless to say, because they did engagement pictures their wedding photos were smooth sailing! Well except for the fact that we had some unexpected rain start to fall towards the end of wedding party pictures! BUT we pushed through and did all of their family photos in about 10 minutes (a record for myself I must say) and of course once we were done so was the rain. A little tree coverage was all we needed.... and trust in me to get through them quickly! :)
A couple of rain showers are good luck and then we ended the day with a beautiful sunset! Congratulations Ashley and Devon!!! Thank you for everything!
Ashley wore a custom temporary tattoo of Devon's face that she had gotten at her bachelorette party. :)
