{Adam & Emily} The Grands at Mulligans Winter Wedding, Sartell, MN

Adam & Emily were married at the beautiful The Grands at Mulligans in Sartell, MN. It was the perfect location for their snowy winter wedding. They were able to use the full facilities to have their ceremony in the Lodge side and their reception directly across in the Grand Ballroom. It worked out perfectly!

When Adam and Emily began planning their wedding, I don't think they were expecting to literally have FEET of snow on the ground outside! With a big snow fall on Friday and then wind chill advisories on Sunday, they chose the perfect day to get married. It may have been a little bit chilly out but everyone made it. Fun fact: I went in the ditch at the end of my driveway as I was leaving to head to the wedding. Oops! But lesson in why I leave so early to get to my weddings and allow extra time because you just never know. Thank goodness my husband was home and able to pull me right out!

It turned out to be a beautiful wedding with studding decorations by Designer Weddings and gorgeous floral arrangements by Freeport Floral. It couldn't have been more stunning.

We even snuck outside and braved the cold for a few pictures. There weren't many options of places to go but we had a nice path shoveled for us out to their awning. Sadly slippery dresses of Adam's ended with him slipping on the ice and almost falling in the snow. All saved except for his hand!

The reception had beautiful purple uplighting and special touches throughout. Emily even arranged for a Dr. Suess table for her fellow teachers to sit it. She does teach first grade AND it was Dr. Suess's birthday. Loved it!
