Brett and Brittany's engagement session was just magical. Well the results are magical... the experience was funny, a little scary, and chilly! We wanted to do their engagement photos using a canoe at Glacial Lakes State Park in Starbuck, MN. But actually using one was an experience. Brittany was a little freaked out about tipping over, Brett thought that was pretty funny, and I just didn't want my camera gear ending up in the water. Plus throw in the fact that I showed up to their session wearing two different shoes (totally didn't realize this when I left the house). The results were so worth it though! Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith!
I love doing photos for people that I have known for years and I have known Brett since he was my art student in elementary school. I taught him all the way through graduation and then he ended up getting a job working with my husband. Small world! I was so excited to do his engagement pictures after all these years! This session didn't disappoint. Brett and Brittany are the sweetest couple and I can't wait for their wedding next fall. Hopefully we will have a little warmer day next year. :)
